Sweden-based Stillfront Group has released its financial data for 2021. The company’s net annual revenue increased 37% year over year to $586.2 million. A similar increase was observed in the last quarter of the year. In the last quarter of 2021, the company’s revenues jumped 33% to approach $155 million.

Stillfront’s annual EBITDA rose 21% to $193 million. According to the company’s report, most of Stillfront Group’s revenues are from mobile industry operations. In addition, it is stated that the success of the Jordanian game studio Jawaker, which Stillfront acquired in September 2021, was also influential in strengthening the financial data.

The company continued to expand its operations in MENA, India, and Japan throughout the year. Success in these regions has resulted in the company generating more revenue. One of the reasons for this global strengthening is the rapid increase in the number of games in Stillfront’s portfolio.

During the last quarter of 2021, Stillfront added eight new games to its portfolio of games. The company’s total number of games increased to 64. The company announced that they plan to start the soft-launch process for 15 more games during 2022.

Stillfront Group CEO Jörgen Larsson said of the company’s portfolio of games:

“In 2021, we continued to strengthen our business for the long term. We have grown our active games portfolio from 42 to 64 games. We have increased our advertising revenues from 8 percent to 19 percent. We have expanded our geographic reach with talented studios in regions like MENA, East Asia, and the Indian Subcontinent. During the year, we have developed the Stillops platform further, which enables us to realize more synergies between our studios.”

Stillfront is expected to grow further throughout 2022. Earlier this year, the company acquired 6Waves. In addition, Stillfront bought the Iron Throne: The Firstborn game from Netmarble in the last month of 2021, changing its name to “Rise of Firstborn.”
